Tazorac does work or is it a hoax?
Reply:Neutrogena Deep Clean is great, as well as Clean and Clear Blackhead Scrub
Reply:I used the Tazorac cream at night for over two years. For the first year it worked great for me, but the last year it really hasn't and I have just switched to Differen gel. The only side effect I had was dry skin and some redness…
Reply:Thanks for your answer, I'll hang in there since it seems to be working. I can handle a little bit of morning peeling, hope I get to that stage! What exfoliating scrub do you like?
Reply:I use it every night, I've heard that some people wash it off. I started out using it every other night until my skin got used to it. To be honest with you, the peeling never stops. It isn't as bad as it was in the beginning, but when I wash my face in the morning, I notice the small amount of skin that comes off. If you use an exfoliant scrub (where you can feel the granules), just scrubbing your face in the morning is enough. There shouldn't be any noticable peeling during the day, or at night.
Reply:How does it work if you rinse it off after a few minutes? My doc instructed me to leave it on all night. Just wondering.
Reply:Tazorac has worked wonders for me
Reply:Do you use it every night? How long does the incessant peeling last?
Reply:I don't think Tazorac is a hoax at all. I've been using it on and off for about a year. When I started using it, my acne was as bad at is had ever been, so all I notced was improvement. During the summer, I stopped using it, and recently started again when my acne pretty under control, and now I'm going through the "bad phase" that most people complain about when they first start using Tazorac. Every little blocked pore turns into a big nasty pimple… ugggh. But it does get better, so if you stick with it, the results are great. By the way, I use Tazorac gel (and Benzaclin).
Reply:I've been trying Tazorac gel every other night and still am peeling like crazy. It does seem to be clearing up my acne though. I don't know if I can continue with it.
Reply:Also is the tazorac gel stronger that the tazorac cream? Which one has more side affects? Which one works better??????
