Reply:Chamomile is a small daisy like flower. It has nothing to do with 'regular' tea, the camellia whatever plant.
However, I've read that green tea is also helpful with the hormonal cause of acne. The flavonoids in it mimic DHT and can bind to the receptors in our oil follicles so that DHT can't.

Reply:chamomile or camomile tea is different from green tea. You can find it in the same aisle as green tea at the grocery store.
I read that chamomile supposedly has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and smooth muscle-relaxing effects, particularly in the gastrointestinal tract.
Apparently, you need to take 3-5 cups a day in order to see any significant effects.

Do you mean you have been drinking camomile tea, or just regular tea? Can regular tea prevent acne aswell as camomile tea?

Reply:what exactly is calamine tea? I couldn't find anything at all about it. I found a lot of stuff about calamine lotion, which basically is zinc oxide. So i'm guessing that if the tea has zinc, its probably the zinc thats making a difference.
