Tetracycline pill question [tetracycline] [pills]

can someone currently taking tetracycline, please answer this, I used to take it, and I found an old pill bottle, half I try to figure out whats in the container, I can not read the label “I” m not going to take, I just want to know what it is: 0) but the pills are such great and they are white, can anyone confirm what their tetracycline pills look like? their shape is kind of like oval, and they are fat pills. thanks

Reply:Mine are black and yellow…they have a coating on them too. I have never heard of any with out the coating of any color….don't you remember what they used to look like. But be careful because they do expire..hope I helped some!

All I can say is my pills were black and white and the powder was inside them. the pills you are describing dont seem to have a coating around them.

Reply:guy, are you going to use these pills? I can't find mine, i wanted to use up the rest (which would have been 2 1/2 weeks worth) but wasnt sure if that was a bad idea or if it would even have any effect.

Reply:well all i can say is that they are white and kind of big, and I used to crush them up, and put them in juice, because they were too big for me swallow, anyone else have white ones that are kind of oval shaped, and they can be crushed up if they have to?

Tetracycline is made generically, and several companies make it. Each company's tetracycle looks different. Unless you can provide the pill imprint, there's no way to safely identify what you have.
