Reply:I am actually about 2 weeks into the program, and I must say that it does seem like my acne is getting a lot better. I don?t know if this is just a temporary help, but hopefully it will keep improving. I must say though that it is one of the harshest treatments you can go on. Unless you have very tolerant skin, I don?t think you?ll be able to handle it. I am as skeptical as anyone about these books, but so far so good, and ill post in a month or so to update everyone on how it?s going.

Reply:I once tried this – for around eight weeks. I thought I saw some improvement at first, but then my skin started getting worse again. By the end of the eight weeks I had developed seborrheic eczema on my face, which I feel was brought on by my sensitive skin's reaction against the glycolic acid (apparently it can be brought on by 'skin trauma'). I have no doubt that the regime may help some people, but it's certainly not a definitive acne cure – I don't feel that any topical treatment can cure acne.
