The birth control, skin a mess, help! [body breakouts] [retin a micro]

I was on BCP for 9 years. Skin is not perfect. Flareups body was always in the winter. I was good at the summer.

I production of the BCP in November. Since then I have had breakouts and a body rash, which my derm says, is the Retin-a micro. Maybe its too strong.

But I was on Retin-a micro for years without problems. Would my skin and hormones have changed to the point where its too strong?

Reply:my skin was an absolute mess when I stopped the pill in December. Its now finally evening out – 5 months later. It really does take a while for your hormones to regulate. Proactiv cleared my skin up, but also made it really dry, and it didnt clear up ALL my acne, just most of it. I quit the proactiv, and now im using just a regular face scrub by Benefit (called Honey Snap Out Of It) and my face has stayed relatively clear.
but yeah, MAN my face was bad those few months after stopping the pill.
