to break, while Spiro [jaw line] [red bumps]

I have been on Spiro for a couple of weeks. I got worse to break out along my jawline / chin. They are painful red bumps. Not the norm for me. Has anyone else experienced this and can give me some info. ?

Thanks!

Reply:it didnt take long for me,but it will take a few weeks at first until your oily face to get less oily and pretty soon it will be like normal skin.you also have to take it everyday too….no skipping especially when you start out.my skin is still perfect…..well i still have scars but no acne.

Reply:Hey, don't get discouraged immediately. I too broke out when starting spiro..I did stick it out and I'm glad that I did. It took about 2 months for me to see the great results. Good Luck!

Reply:guy- did your face clear up? I've also had more breakouts too & i know its spiro! If it did clear up, how long did it take? Thanks

Reply:I broke out worse when I first started spiro. I was just finishing up law school so it could have been entirely stress related. I also have Cushings disease which messes with my hormones, so something could have been out of whack. Or I figured it could be clearing what was under the surface. I decided to go on the pill after my second month on spiro just in case my hormones were getting more out of balance. My face is looking better and better now. So sorry I'm not too much help I have so many theories :) But I did break out at first.
