Well, I went to the dermatologist and got differin Tazorac because it was too annoying for me. Well I havent got differin yet completed, because somehow I havent broken out since I visited him lol.
I had been using her fat a lot in my hair (black people hair gets nappy: (.) And I quit that and started using aloe vera gel in my hair and since then Ive got nothing new apart from one who was already there before the switch. Then began Witch Hazel as a astrignent periodically throughout day.
It s is about 3-4 weeks since the visit to the derm. Should I stick to what Im doing or what? My mother keeps annoying me the use differin but I dont want to make matters worse especially if differin first breakthrough as Taz causes .
Reply:They're both retinoids, but Taz is stronger. So essentially similar properties but Differin is milder. I use Differin and have been happy with it. Good for cystic hormonal acne. I doubt you'll have a purge with Differin if you've been using Taz since you should have already gone through that phase. If Taz was working but irritating Differin is a good idea—combined with a cleansing/moisturizing routine that will help your sensitive skin (Eucerin Sensitive, Cetaphil, Phisoderm Sensitive, etc). Not so sure that Witch Hazel is a great idea. Stick to a good cleanser/moisturizer and keep the hair oils away from your face.
