Warning . Aloe Vera! [aloe vera] [eek]

I had been using aloe vera for a while and it works very well. Last night I put a lot more and when I woke up and peeled it off, my skin was very red: eek: Has anyone else experienced this before. Thanks
Reply:O ok, because at the current time I'm using two acids and bp so I need to moisturize so my skin doesn?t get dry. So ill probably wait until I change my routine a little bit to when my face isn?t so dry.
Reply:John it's more of a mask. You apply it to your face at night and let it dry overnight. Then end the morning your suppose to peel it off.
Reply:I'm confused about Aloe Vera now. I was going to try it since everyone seems to love it so much, but I though it was a moisturizer. Now you say that it?s drying out your face. What is it exactly, a moisturizer or more of a mask.
Reply:Yes! Fruit of the Earth Aloe made my face very red. Also, I was using mandelic acid with no problems. Once I started using aloe at night and mandelic during the day, my face got really sensitized to mandelic and now i can't even use it, so i have acne again. I'd beware of aloe.
