Im going to start again and I was weight lifting weightlifting wondering
will my produce more testosterone, which in turn give me more acne to do?
Reply:I don't necessairly agree that people who exercise will have better skin than people who don't.
Last year I started an exercise program, mainly running. I lost a lot of weight, especially muscle and was starting to look a little sickly. I began a weight lifting program and sure enough I started breaking out BIG TIME.
I have never had so much lean muscle mass on my body but I have not had acne like this in 5 years. My doc said the exercise had a lot to with it. I was increasing testorone.
Of course, I still exercise. I would rather be in shape with acne than a couch potato with acne.
I am not saying that lifting weights will cause your acne but it could. You are right to be concerned. Take percautions. You may want to take some saw palmetto too which will block some of hte testorone.
Reply:no it doesnt. In fact it helps relieve stress and its good to sweat, good for the body and skin.
Thats why I do it. People who excersize will have better skin than ppl who dont.
Reply:Definately not!! In fact I have seen in improve people's acne…Must be the increased blood flow to the face or because exercising helps relieve all the stress that us acne sufferers have
