Im already taking spiro . for almost 3 months now. I have mild acne . Im just whiteheads . Some days are better than others. Ive tried everything over the counter . for prescribing and nothing will get rid of these whiteheads! Since taking the spiro can I get a little improvement, but its almost three full months and I still get them and my face still gets oily throughout the day in my T-zone. I use bare mineral makeup so if I want the mre of oil, I have the mineral veil but it makes me quite unreliable reduction. But my question is . how long should I take spiro . before I know this is as good as its going to get? For those of you who said spiro amde flawfless ur face . you also have whiteheads?!
Reply:I'm taking 100mg. My face isn't horrible…I just still get those annoying little whiteheads. I didn;t know if spiro took those away too?
Reply:guy…how many mg's are you taking a day? I stared at 25 and saw no improvement. And then I was bumped up to 100 mg a day and saw a huge improvement. I have been on 100mg a day for almost a year now and I can go without makeup if I really wanted to! I still like to wear makeup to cover scarring…but I am so happy!
