white pill for Yasmin? [yasmin] [breakout]

Im on Yasmin for about 16 days now or a little over 2 weeks and this is my first time bc I got the first breakthrough in the first week and nearly destroyed her now:) but my question is when taking the white pills because they dnt have hormones, I breakout again? I really hope not my first week of school during the white pills! Please thanks

Reply:I've been on Yasmin for about 7 or 8 months (not quite sure how long) and I always break out during the white pill week but it's not horrible. Are you using any topicals or anything? If not you should pick up some Neutrogena On The Spot (or something that your skin has responded to well in the past) and use that during that week. It surprises me that you say that your skin is clearing up already in the first month. It look over 4 months for mine to start clearing.

Reply:I'm on my second pack of Desogen. I noticed that I broke out right when starting the second pack, maybe from the lack of hormones the week before? When I was on Yasmin for 3 months I broke out during the placebo week. I'm thinking of switching to Mircette since it has some extra estrogen the last week, but the overall estrogen dose is low so I'm not sure if overall it would be good for my acne.
