Reply:thanks dsheldon.i really think a lot about girls and dont degrade them like other guys do.i think the best think for me is just to hugg a girl i like all night long.my skin is clear and im actually getting confidence with woman again.i really look good as a guy.the one lady at wal-mart said i was i was good looking.i guess shes praying for me.i figure at 42 what do i have to lose taking spiro and prem.like i say its really last resorts for a guy.and bella i am going to check into that other anti-androgen.thanks for the in fo. take care and thanks again dsheldon for being so sweet!!!!

Reply:guy- i have been reading alot of what you have to say, and i am just sad about it! i am trying to understand if you are straight, or if it is your intention to be a transvestite. i dont understand. also, wondered your age. i know of an anti- androgen called finasteride that men can take pretty safely, without lossing thier manlies! it sounds like you are obsessed. so much though, you would lose your ability to have intercorse! i wish you well.
Reply:Its hit or miss. I went to 3 docs to get a med that I had used in the past and had good results. When the 4th doctor told me no – I began to cry in his office. He wanted me to try a similar med and in the end it works 100% perfect for me. When the med i was originally begging for had some side effects.
So you just gotta keep trying till you get something right.

Spiro was prescribed to me by an endocrinologist. I saw my general practitioner & asked for a referral to an endo. My reasoning was that my gyno thought she detected a ruptured cyst so I wanted to get tested for PCOS. When I saw the endo I just talked through everything I had researched and luckily he was knowledgable about most treatment options. I was also very emotional during the appointment & I think he could sense that I was nearing the end of my rope. Unfortunately, spiro didn't work for me. I was on it for 4 months and my skin stayed the same. Ironically I start accutane tomorrow. Last week I saw a new dermatologist & after explaining all of the things I've tried (all antis, retin-a, differin, tazorac, proactiv, spiro), he said accutane was probably the best thing for me. I'm a little nervous but trying to stay positive. I'll be 27 in December and after almost 5 years of persistent acne, I'm ready to take my chances with 'the tane'.
I suggest you see an endo. If you need a referral, get one by telling your gp anything that would indicate you need your hormones tested. I know that sounds shady but hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Then take all your research to that appt and try convincing him/her that it's worth a try. Good luck. Reply:i told my md im having a sex change.when the plastic surgeon who wife was doing my micro-dermabrasions told me i would just have to live with acne for the rest of my life after he prescribed an anti-biotic that didnt work worth a s@it.i did some research and found most transexual have dryer,softer skin while on hormone replacement therapy.so i went to a ts psycologyst and got my papers and went to my md and got hrt prescribed for me.spiro and premerin.i have a body like a girl anyways.i really like girls a lot maybe too much and if ur a guy and u have got acne for as long as i have with no confidence ur gonna spend ur life alone.i was to the breaking point with this acne.i was willing to try anything and spiro has cleared my skin like nothing else ever has.my ps still is amazed how my skin got so good as is everyone else.i didnt tell them im on hrt.im going to be steril eventully.it really doesnt matter because i havnt had sex in 24 years anyways.i think i spent most my free time dealing with my skin problems.im not a true transexual but i meet with these people at their support meetings every month and their not bad people.i guess their like us people with acne they get s@it on by the whole world.like it or not i guess im a transexual now.i havnt dont do a lot of girl stuff but having clear skin for the first time in ages is great.maybe this girl stuff isnt too bad after all.

Reply:Just demand the stuff from him, its your life and your decisions. If your still looking to take new products obvisuly the stuff your takign which is probabaly provided by him aint working.
I have to get a reforeou slip from my main doctor to see a dermatogist, at first he wouldnt do it he gave me some BS cream to take for my face, I called him later that week cause the cream wasnt doing a damm thing an i flipped on him say my derm and my derm says accutance.
I went from some BS cream that my main doctor was telling me that was all i needed to going to the most severe medicine for acne treatment accutane. I still wasnt sure i seen my sister dermatogist , nice guy and he gave me nicomide vitamins and doxy plus plaxion facial cleaner.
It just goes to show you that these derms and doctors dont always know whats best for you.
I would demand the medicine and make a scene he has to give it to u.
